Curriculum Vitae

Stefan Bensch (born 1980) studied Economics at the Leibniz Academy in Hanover and the Private University of Applied Science for Economics and Engineering, Vechta-Diepholz-Oldenburg. Apart from the theoretical study phases with focus on Business Marketing and Finance, Mr. Bensch gained practical experiences at Landré GmbH in Gronau.

After graduating as a Diplom-Kfm (FH), Mr. Bensch completed a secondary study IM/IT (information management / information technology) at the University of Hildesheim. The main task during his study was the conception and implementation of Data Warehouse solutions and software development.

Furthermore he was active as a research assistant at the institute for computer science of the working group intelligent information systems for the practical course data base application development.

Mr. Bensch developed with his master thesis a HR-BW-solution for Continental AG and obtained his diploma (master of science).

Since mid of July 2008, Mr. Bensch is working as a research assistant at the chair of Business Informatics and Systems Engineering (Prof. Dr. Klaus Turowski) at the University of Augsburg.

His research interests are in the field of business information systems (ERP systems in particular SAP/R3) and inter-organizational systems.
