In this lecture you will learn actually basic knowledge
in the area of B2B Mobile Commerce in practice-oriented and structured way. The
students will learn knowledge and methods as well as details of practice. A
further object of the lecture is to empower the participants to evaluate special
literature and Internet sources for scientific or business professional work
and to use it in a target-oriented way.
Detailed contents:
The lecture is based on the MC I lecture and
introduces the basics of mobile-integrated business processes (MIBP). Students
learn the process of Mobile Business Process
Re-Engineering (M-BPR) from the viewpoint of IT solution providers and
consultancies. Additionally, a deeper understanding in the area of mobile
payment and mobile network market, especially the case of mobile network
operators and mobile virtual network operators,
is provided.
Organizational:
The lecture topic is imparted in a one day "Blockveranstaltung".
At the beginning of the semester case studies which consolidate the subject
matter are conducted and prepare for the examination. This year it is the first
time that a credit bonus of one credit level for examination will be offered.
Therefore three exercises must be passed by teams of four students and must be
prepared that the teams are able to present the team results. The exercise are
available to download and they have to be send in printed version to the chair
of business informatics and systems engineering.

Further information:
This lecture is based on the course Mobile Commerce which is offered at the same semester.
The successful completion of both courses is necessary for the admission requirements to relevant seminary (exception: study course
DWJ only MC I necessary). Seminar and diploma thesis will be offered in different areas, often in
cooperation with industry companies. A selection results on the examination
note. Students who focus on special areas of "Mobile Commerce" will receive
support for internship finding.
