Microsoft Students Webtech Roadshow

All interested students and especially the participants of the Web-Engineering-Lecture were invited on 

                       Wednesday, 16.04. at 17:00 pm in CIP 2114

silverheartdragonto a speech of the Microsoft Students Webtech Roadshow with themes as follows Microsoft Popfly, Photosynth, HD View, Seadragon, Silverlight 2 Deep Zoom.

The latest web technologies of Microsoft were presented and within small hands-on-sessions the opportunity was given to learn more about them - the best idea was awarded. 

After the speech the particpants were invited to discuss the new web technologies of Microsoft with the lecturer and other students.

Knowledge Management Award

Alexander Richter was awarded with the "German young academic talents Knowledge Management Award 2007" for his brilliant thesis at the chair of Business Informatics and Systems Engineering, Prof. Dr. Klaus Turowski on the 11th October 2007.

Guest lecture "Legal aspects of EC"
In the frame of the lecture Electronic Commerce a guest lecture took place  with the title "Legal aspects of Electronic Commerce" on tuesday, 11th December 2007. Guest lecturer was Dr. Robert Selk from the office SSH - Dr. Schmid, Dr. Selk & Hoffmann in Munich.
 
MIOS-CIAO 2006 (Symposium)

The „Workshop on Modeling Inter-Organizational Systems focusing on Collaboration and Interoperability (MIOS)" took place in conjunction with the conference OTM 2006 in Montpellier (France) from 31st October - 01st November 2006.

The workshop - organized in co-operation with the working group - offered the participants a comprehend topic spectrum around the collaboration and interoperability interplant information systems.

OTM Doctoral Consortium

The „3rd OTM Academy Doctoral Consortium" in contribution with the conference OTM 2006 took place in Montpellier (France) from 29th October - 30th October 2006.

The Doctoral Consortium - organized in co-operation with the working group - had the objective to join postgraduates with topics of Inter-Organizational Systems to offer the opportunities to discuss their topics with renowned professors.
