On the 11^th September 2002 the research group Component- and Service Engineering held the third international workshop

"Modelling and Specification of Business Components"

at the University of Erlangen/Nürnberg in cooperation with the

• GI-Workshop Component-Oriented Operational Application Systems (WI-kobAS)                                                                                                                                         
  
• the section 5.10 MobIS (Information System Architectures: Modeling Operational Information Systems) and the                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
  
• Bavarian Research Association of Business Informatics (Bayerischen Forschungsverbund Wirtschaftsinformatik).

Exclusive topic of the workshop was the discussion of the Memorandum Standardized Specification of Business Components of the working group 5.10.3.. The updated memorandum can be found under
