From 24^th to 25^th February 2000 the research group Component- and Service Engineering held the international workshop

Component-oriented Operational Application Systems (WKBA 2)

at the University of Vienna, Austria, in cooperation with the

• GI-work group Component-oriented Operational Application Systems (WI-kobAS) and

•  the department of Business Informatics, University of Vienna                                                                                               

Topic of the workshop was the component-based development of business application systems. The topic included research questions to the follwing areas:
