Lebenslauf
Klaus Turowski (Jahrgang 1966) studierte Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen an der Universität Karlsruhe, promovierte am Institut für Wirtschaftsinformatik der Universität Münster und war später in der Arbeitsgruppe Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Universität Magdeburg beschäftigt, wo er sich im Fach Wirtschaftsinformatik habilitierte. Von 2000 bis 2001 vertrat er die Professur für Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Universität der Bundeswehr München. Seit Oktober 2001 leitet er den Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik und Systems Engineering an der Universität Augsburg.
Er ist Gastdozent an verschiedenen ausländischen Universitäten und hatte Lehraufträge an den Universitäten Darmstadt und Konstanz. Er war (Mit-)Veranstalter einer Vielzahl nationaler und internationaler wissenschaftlicher Tagungen (> 30) sowie Mitglied zahlreicher Programmkomitees (> 130) und diverser Gutachtergruppen. Praktische Erfahrungen sammelte er im Rahmen zahlreicher Projekte in der Wirtschaft, in denen er im Rahmen seiner universitären Tätigkeit tätig war oder die er als selbständiger Berater durchführte.
